Racine – Judith A. Drake, 65, passed away unexpectedly at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, January 30, 2012.
Judy was born in Racine on May 28, 1946 to Clarence and Margaret (nee, Biebel) Fetzer. She married Richard Drake at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on December 28, 1968. Judy loved birds and gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family up north.
Judy is survived by her husband, Richard Drake; son, Larry (Trina) Drake; grandchildren, Cory Adams and Tamika Adams; great-granddaughter, SaNiyah Adams; brother, Ron (Mary) Fetzer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jan (Rick) Gurdjian; nephews, Bill (Judy) Fetzer and Chris Gurdjian; nieces, Valerie (John) James and Kali (Chris) Jones; and great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and Grandma Biebel.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, corner of Melvin and Erie Street, on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. A. Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aurora Cancer Care Racine, 950 N. 12th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
